Etsy Shop Find - mottleymutton

Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a sucker for animals (I'm a vegetarian for moral reasons, not health reasons.) I saw these cute little guys on the front page a few months ago, and I couldn't believe how cute and creative they were. I want to buy all of them up and hang them at my desk at work! I visited the website of the seller (http://www.motleymutton.com/), and I am totally hooked. She lives on a 40-acre farm in West Virginia with her family and goats (and it seems like she treats them like they are her children - which I love!) She even mentioned that they let their chickens sleep in the trees...sounds like the best farm ever. I will have to bookmark her website for future reference when I finally buy farmland and house stray dogs!

Goodbye, Little Bubba.

A few nights ago, my Grandma gave me some sad news. The little hamster my brother bought for my nephew, Bradon, passed away. My brother became much more attached to the hamster - so eloquently named Bubba Sharptooth - than Bradon was, and gave the furry little guy some first-class care. Since I'm pretty much nocturnal, Bubba was normally the only other family member awake with me in the middle of the night when I was at home visiting my family. I know that he was just a hamster, but he gave my bro and the rest of the family some good times and he will be missed!

OK, so I'm back already, but I wanted to post about one of the cutest Etsy shops that I've found. Lauren Alexander Art (laurenalexander.etsy.com) has some of the most adorable original art, and the prices are fantastic. I'm going to snag up a few of these cute prints for my walls very soon!
