Vote for me, if you please! :)

Hi friends, Etsy has featured my headband, the siren, in one of their most recent polls. Thanks in advance for your vote or for at least reading this. :)

I just bought this...

...in pink of course! It's a gorillapod and is a bendy tripod. I hope it works, if not I'm sure I will find it amusing. It kind of reminds me of that small bad alien from Transformers.

Happy Birthday, Belli Button!

My friend Dana's daughter turned one today...I present Miss Bella Marie Bail (wearing a Mandizzle headband. :) )
We took her out for an exciting first birthday lunch at Panera. She chose to put a sock in her mouth. It's her birthday...she could do what she wanted!

Cleveland Handmade Challenge: May Flowers

I am a member of the amazing Cleveland Handmade Team, and some of us are participating in the "May Flowers" Challenge where we each submit a design that reflects the challenge theme. I submitted one of my "flora" headbands. Please visit the link below and vote for your favorite. I won't be mad if you vote for me. :)

Hey, Big Pup

I was having a weird night (almost overdrawn in my bank account...went to deposit money at the atm and they were out of envelopes/went to return the too-small pants I bought on Saturday...left them sitting on my dining room table...bought the correct sizes anyway (didn't help the bank account situation) etc.)

Anyway, I walked out of the craft store where I had to pick up some things (it was only $13, but still didn't help my bank account) and I saw this big fella in this little car. It was so adorable. I know you can barely see him with my camera phone pic, but he (or she) was a pretty Great Dane, and cheered me right up. :)

So, what did you do this weekend?

This was the first weekend where I haven't had some sort of work event going on in a few months...so what did I do with all of that time off? (Note: If you are looking for excitement and crazy stories, you may want to stop reading now.)

Friday (After Work)
*Napped

*Watched Slumdog Millionaire

*Watched Nick and Norah's Infinte Playlist

Saturday

*Went to Donato's with Scott and stuffed my face. So delicious.

*Went fabric shopping and made everyone in line angry because I had so much stuff for the lady to cut.

*Returned a shirt at the mall, and walked out with 2 pairs of pants, a shirt, 2 tanks, and a scarf (all for under $70 or $85 or something!) This was the first time I've purchased clothing for myself in MONTHS (basically.)

*Napped

*Watched the Bulls/Celtics game (kind of.)

*Went for a quick trip to the grocery store to get a few items (so I say, $101 later.) Literally haven't been there in at least a month, either.

*Watched Slumdog again

*Enjoyed a delicious Skinny Cow Chocolate Truffle Bar

*Watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall

*Made headbands until 6:00am

Sunday

*Made headbands ALL day

*Watched the Hawks/Heat game (kind of.)

*Watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall again

*Watched lots of reality tv

*Talked to my Mom on the phone...my Dad got on and told me that I needed to turn it on TNT to watch the amazing movie that was on. I later found out that it was Stomp the Yard, haha.

*Made a promise to myself that I would go to bed by 11:30pm (the time is currently 12:20.)

Now, that I've completely bored you - please let me know what fun you had this weekend! :)
